Mystic Dreamer Tarot

TEN OF WANDS

A man struggles across a field as he carries a large bundle of wands alive with new growth. The turret of a castle can be seen far off on the horizon. Wildflowers and butterflies adorn the field, although the man is likely unaware of this beauty.

This card is, in a way, a victory. It signifies that you’ve achieved your goals. However, it also indicates an ending. This phase of the project is over. You cannot continue on in this manner; it is just too much work. Now is the time to scale back on your workload. Downsize the project. Delegate tasks. Hire more staff. Ask for help. Do what is necessary to lighten your workload.

If reversed, this indicates not that you've taken on too much, but have shirked your responsibilities. If you don’t pick up your fair share, someone else is going to have to.

Use your intuition

  • What do the wildflowers and butterfly represent?
  • What is the significance of the new growth on the wands?
  • What is the man’s relationship to the castle on the horizon?
